VitVue documentation
VitVue turns the TV you own into a remotely managed digital sign — no expensive media players, no on-site IT. These guides cover everything from pairing your first screen to scheduling content across a fleet.

How VitVue works
Getting content on a screen always follows the same four steps:
1
Create a slide
Design in the Canvas editor or upload an image/video.
2
Build a playlist
Group slides, set durations, and schedule them (optional).
3
Pair a screen
Install the player, read the code, add the screen.
4
Publish
Assign content — it goes live on the screen in seconds.
Core concepts
A handful of terms appear throughout these docs. They match exactly what you see in the dashboard:
- Screen
- A display device — an Android TV, Google TV, or any browser — paired to your account.
- Slide
- A single design. Each slide is built with one of two engines: Canvas (modern) or Puck (legacy blocks).
- Playlist
- An ordered set of slides, each with its own duration and optional schedule.
- Screen group
- A set of screens you manage and assign content to together.
- Media
- Images and videos you upload and reuse across slides.
- Urgent override
- A slide pushed to a screen that temporarily jumps ahead of whatever is playing.
